Operation java second part !! - confirmed by the director himself

Operation Java’ has turned out to be the first genuine theatrical hit in Malayalam cinema this year. The film has entered its third week of theatrical run and is still continuing in a good number of centres. Directed by debutant Tharun Moorthy, it is a film based on various cyber crimes. It is probably the first time in Malayalam cinema that so much that cyber crimes has been explored in such depth and that itself is the film’s USP.

‘Operation Java’ ends with the possibility of a second part and the director has now confirmed the same. In a recent interview, Tarun Moorthy revealed that a sequel will be made but it will only be after 2-3 years. It remains to be seen if the same characters will be returning once again.

‘Operation Java’ has an elaborate cast that includes Balu Varghese, Lukman, Vinayakan, Irshad, Shine Tom Chacko, Binu Pappu, Dhanya Ananya, Mamitha Baiju, Vineetha Koshy, Johny Antony and Prashanth Alexander. Cinematographer Faiz Siddik, music director Jakes Bejoy and editor Nishad Yousef comprise the core technical crew.
